TRONITY and WISO Steuer Collaborate: Digital Logbook for Tax Declarations

Mannheim-based startup TRONITY and the market leader in tax apps, WISO Steuer, announce their collaboration. Beginning with the 2024 tax return, WISO Steuer users can directly integrate their electronic logbook managed through TRONITY into their tax declarations. This innovative feature particularly eases the reporting of travel expenses for electric car drivers—such as for business trips and commuting to the office.
By integrating the TRONITY logbook into WISO Steuer, users can input their vehicle data directly into their tax returns without additional hardware or manual data entry. This saves significant time and minimizes the risk of errors during data collection. Precise recording of trips ensures all relevant data is accurately captured, benefiting all professionals who are required to keep a logbook or who drive a company car. Self-employed individuals and company car drivers particularly benefit from the increased accuracy and transparency in trip recording, as precise and tax-compliant documentation is essential for tax purposes. The automated capture and transfer of driving data not only simplifies the process but also makes it more reliable and convenient.
Torsten Born, CEO of TRONITY, expresses his enthusiasm:
"We are very pleased about the collaboration with WISO Steuer. This will make it easier for numerous electric car drivers to prepare their tax returns. We appreciate WISO Steuer's openness to this adaptation, which will significantly simplify the process for users in the future."
Peter Schmitz, Managing Director of WISO Steuer, adds:
"Expanding WISO Steuer's functionality with TRONITY's digital logbook is a timely step. We are excited to offer our customers a more precise and efficient solution for trip recording, especially in the field of e-mobility, setting new standards in digital tax declarations."
